The Owners
We have been wedding photographers for 8 years. Between the two of us, we have experienced over 200 weddings all over the state of Arkansas and the country. It has been a huge blessing to us to work at so many amazing weddings - and over the years we have just fallen in love with them. So, in 2024, we made the decision to buy Meadow on the Mountain.
We both want our venue to be a place that you can see hosting the most important day of your life. We have seen countless examples of what works, and many more of what doesn’t. We really feel so excited to leverage this experience to make your wedding day run smoothly.
Our names are Heath and Caitlin Whorton. We are experienced wedding professionals looking to bring our love and passion to this wedding venue!
We have been married for 16 years. We live a light version of farm life with our two boys, two dogs, two horses, and 11 chickens. We even have a cute lil garden. Caitlin is the animal queen and caretaker, and Heath’s passion is cooking a good meal for people.
About Meadow
The view
Just about any direction you face at Meadow on the Mountain has a stunning view. The front side of the venue is a stunning open grass field with a view of distant mountains, and the back side is the overlook view - we love them both so much!
Ceremony Space
The ceremony space features a newly constructed arbor, a long sidewalk for the ceremony that leads straight to the venue, and of course, the view.
Reception Space
Just about any direction you face at Meadow on the Mountain has a stunning view.
Bridal Suite
We created a bridal suite that is very spacious and has a ton of natural light for beautiful photos. It’s one of the most important part of the wedding day, and we are so proud of ours!
